In Nehemiah 2:18, Nehemiah casts the vision God placed in his heart to rebuild the broken walls of Jerusalem: “Let us rise up and build.” The people responded by strengthening their hands for the work. There comes a moment when vision can no longer remain something we simply talk about. It must become something we build.
The people in Nehemiah’s day heard the vision, embraced the burden, and moved together in faith. They didn’t wait for someone else. They didn’t assume another generation would carry it. They strengthened their hands and put their faith into motion.
Today, we stand in that same sacred moment. This is about more than asphalt. More than painted lines. More than parking spaces - this is about making room. Room for the single mother searching for hope. Room for the prodigal coming home. Room for families believing for healing. Room for the next revival, the next baptism, the next miracle.
As part of this new season we are building 243 new parking spaces; 243 opportunities to create room for someone to encounter God. Each space can be sponsored for $850. These are more than places to park a car, because when God is involved, the real question becomes:
Where will you park your hope?
Where will you park your faith?
Where will you park your family’s legacy?
What we make room for reveals what we value. Every parking space becomes a seed in the ground - a declaration that says:
“I believe in making room for more.”
“I believe in building for generations I may never meet.”
“I believe revival deserves room.”
This is more than a financial commitment. It is a prophetic act. When you sponsor a parking space, you are helping pave the way for souls to encounter Jesus. You are preparing a place where weary hearts can arrive, where families can be restored, and where Heaven can touch earth. Some may sponsor one space. Some may sponsor several. Others may join together with family, friends, or businesses to provide a place for someone’s life to be changed forever. Whatever we do, now is the time to strengthen our hands for this good work.
The enemy always resists expansion because expansion means impact. IIt means another life transformed by the Cross, another student discovering purpose, and another marriage restored. Like Nehemiah, we will not come down from this vision. We are rising. We are building.
So today, park your resources where your purpose is. Park your seed where your legacy lives. Park your faith in fertile ground. Every space we build creates one more opportunity for someone to encounter “life more abundantly.” It is our time to rise up and build.

Nehemiah 2:18, Nehemiah declared, “The hand of my God was strong upon me,” and the people responded, “Let us rise up and build.”
Throughout ministry and life, I’ve learned this: when God’s hand is on something, growth becomes normal and expansion becomes necessary. God is in the multiplication business. Just like the little boy’s lunch in the hands of Jesus, what is surrendered to God has the potential to multiply far beyond what we imagined.
We are not building simply because we want something bigger. We are building because faithful stewardship requires us to make room for the harvest God is sending.
Notice what happened in Nehemiah’s story. It was not only leadership speaking. It was not only the pastor carrying the vision. The turning point came when the people said, “Let us rise up and build.”
There is power when God’s people begin speaking in unity. Our words carry faith, agreement, and expectation. When we begin declaring the same vision together, God anoints the work and sends increase to fill what has been built for His glory.
I want you to picture this for a moment:
There are people on the way.
Families on the way.
Healing on the way.
Salvation on the way.
Revival on the way.
With every move of God comes a practical question:
Will we make room?
Right now, we have the opportunity to build 243 new parking spaces at $850 each.
To some, it may look like a parking lot, but to people with vision, it looks like potential and possibility.
Before someone hears worship, before they receive the Word, before they walk to an altar, they first need a place prepared for them. A parking space may become someone’s first “welcome home.”
So today, ask yourself:
Where are you parking your vision?
Where are you parking your obedience?
Where are you investing in the future of your family?
Where are you planting something that will outlive you?
Destiny needs a place to arrive. Purpose always needs a place to park. The seed you sow today creates access for tomorrow.
The parking space your sacrifice helps provide may serve:
• a marriage being restored
• a teenager discovering purpose
• a child encountering Jesus
• or a broken person walking in empty and leaving transformed
This is much bigger than concrete. This is Kingdom infrastructure.
In Nehemiah’s day, they rebuilt walls. In our day, we are building access. Just like them, we are called to strengthen our hands for this good work.
Imagine being able to say one day:
-
I helped make room.
-
I helped prepare the path
-
I helped build a place for people to encounter God
This is our moment.
This is our opportunity.
This is our Nehemiah moment.
Whether you sponsor one parking space, several, or simply sow sacrificially toward the vision, know this: you are not just giving to pavement. You are paving the way for purpose.
God has faithfully brought us to this moment.
So let us rise up. Let us build. Let us make room for more.
